IS SHE REALLY FRENCH AND BLOGGERS' BODEGA

Hello Everyone:)

I wanted to share with you one of the treasures that I found at the flea market this weekend.
I was so excited when I saw 'her'.  The dealer told me that she is French. What do you think? Do you think she is French? Her legs look it and the color but I am just not sure. I would love it if someone can tell me. In the mean time I am treating her as a French Lady:) lol

The dealer also told me not to change the fabric. lol  But the zebra print is just not speaking to me;)I have some great simple fabric to redress her in.
I have decided just to recover her with tacks. No fancy schmancy trim, very primitive.  I think she will look fabulous.
I am also going to repaint her as the paint on it is kind of sloppy. I can't wait to start it!!!!!
So what do you think? Stay tuned for her transformation:)

  13. Oh la la, Debra! How gorgeous! Not sure it's French, but it might be. For sure it is a fabulous piece of furniture!
Sorry to be late in responding, I've been a bit under the weather. I got the fabric tape here:
    http://www.etsy.com/shop/charmstore?ref=pr_shop
You can find it here also:
    http://www.stampington.com/html/tapes.html
but there are several online shops that carry it, 'cause t's hot in the craft world right now.
    Hope this helps!
Have a nice end of the week,
    Monica
