THE BEST OKTOBERFEST EVER!

Happy Monday Everyone:)

WOW! What a weekend! This years annual Oktoberfest was the best one yet. The weather was gorgeous, the food was great, the band was fabulous. But the best thing was that over 100 of our friends all gathered together to make it so awesome!!!!You are all the best!!!!We had soooo much fun.

Friends arriving to have some fun.
Tents were set up to stay the night. My rooster woke everyone up at 3:00 a.m. lol and was threatened to be deep fried;)
At night it got cooler and the bonfire was a welcome site.
Dave and Don won trophies for 'Best Light and Best Dark' homebrew. Thanks to all the home brewers for entering. There were 13 this year.
There was dancing. That is Kristin and Gary. Those two know how to have fun!
Bob and the guys have an awesome cover band called 'Twisted Nut'. You guys rock!
This year was a pirate theme for the kids. Fibi dressed accordingly:)
And so did Maci. Check out the pink cowgirl boots. lol They also had fun with all of the other adorable kids and the two pinatas.
Oh look! It's Carole from Maynards Greenhouse Blog. Don't you just love that outfit? She made it!!!!!!!She may just have a new career ahead of her. Also Dee fromFrench Bleu Vintage blog came. I was so thrilled that they were able to make it. It was so much fun to finally meet Dee in person. What a gorgeous lady with a beautiful family. The cutest kids ever:) Wish I had more time to spend with them.
Don and I were able to spend a minute together to have our photo snapped. We had a blast!
Hope your weekend was a great one:)
'Till next time....

  3. Boy is that a goofy face I'm making. Thanks for the nice compliments but not sure it was the best look for me......all I needed was the eye patch and I would have made a good pirate with the kids.
Next time I'll have to stay for the band and not have to drive into the big bad scary NH area haha! I made it out alive with no gunshots! hurray!

  4. Looks like a grand time and the wee Pirates are adorable! Thanks for visiting my Rosary Post, I'd love so see some of your collection of Rosaries in a future post perhaps? I could probably do an entire Blog just on my various Rosaries! *wink* It was difficult deciding which few to photograph today for the post!

  6. Hi Debra ~ What a HOOT!! We had SUCH a good time at Oktoberfest , you and Don really know how to throw a party. Seriously, nothing was overlooked. I wish Ron and I could have stayed all night (the kids could have stayed home though;) It was great meeting you & Carole. I didn't even see a rooster!! We will certainly get together again soon. Many thanks~ Dee
