CHRISTMAS AROUND THE BARN PART 2

Hello Everyone:)

I wanted to show you some more Christmas decorating that has been going on here. Hope you enjoy.

This is our main tree. We always decorate it with vintage and reproduction glass ornaments and lots of beads. This year we put it in front of my pink and white chippy door and placed an angel dressform along side it.

Don puts the lights on every year. He is very serious about this part;) Great job Hun!
Some glass ornaments. The round ones are so teeny. I was so excited when I found them at the market still in their original box.

This little angel sits on top of vintage wallpaper covered books on my desk. I added some garland around her neck after I photographed her. Now she is perfect.
Little touches here and there. I added some glittery silver bows to the girl's chairs.
Glass doves remind me of my own.
Our French farm table in the kitchen. I lined it with  some of the silver tea pots I have collected and added some simple greens and silver garland.

Hope you are having a great week. I still have more Christmas shopping to do. Are you done yet?

'Till next time.......

OUR 1ST WHITE WINTER WONDERLAND

Hello Everyone:)
We had our first snowfall of the year on Sunday evening. The first snowfall is always the best. We only got a couple of inches but it made everything all sparklie and white. We have a very long, curvy driveway and I drive a sports car so I wasn't going anywhere. It's a good thing I work from home:)But, then again I never get to come in late because of the roads;)
I am joining Kathleen over at Faded * Charm. Check out her blog for lots of wonderful whites.

Well, I picked this fabulous bench, made out of a bed, at a flea market about a month ago so you know how I operate;) The 1st floor foyer had to be re-decorated AGAIN! And I am still not satisfied with it so there is more to be done. I also picked up the chalkboard above the bench. Isn't it great? This is the perfect place to sit and
take off wet boots.
I put some of my white vases on top of my Hoosier. I went into the yard and cut some greens  and filled some of them. Simple but just enough for me.
I found this fabulous statue on Sunday at an antique shop. Isn't she pretty. For now she sits on my kitchen island.
And what would White Wednesday be without snowy pictures? The barn looked like it was wrapped in a warm white blanket.

I photograph this tree every year. It looks so beautiful covered in white snowy glitter:)
I will be over to check out your Wednesday Whites so put on the tea.

See you then:) Have a fabulous week! 'Till next time......

CHRISTMAS AROUND THE BARN

Hello Everyone:)
Is everyone else asking " Where the heck did the rest of the year go???" I can't believe that it is December already. And with that said it is also time to decorate for the Holidays:) YYYYeeeeeaaaaa - love it. I am still decorating for Christmas and I wanted to show you what I have done so far. Our big live tree is sitting in the middle of the living room half dressed. Not really sure when that will be finished as the whole house looks like a bomb hit it. Decorations and boxes everywhere. Am I the only one? Please tell me I'm not. But I have been prettying up other areas of the barn.  Here is what I have done already.

Love this little white tree with silver accents. I took an old book and cut zig zags in strips of the pages and used it as garland. I'm happy with the look.

        Silver decor on the Hoosier.

This ironstone was already festive. I keep this crown ornament out all year. I just love it:)
Angel wings for the dress forms with silver accessories to match.

Little bitty children's shoes sit under the white tree.  Soooo cute.

Gotta have my Rosary Beads!
Ironstone, lace and silver. Does it get any better?
                      See my paper garland?

We are so lucky here in the woods. We actually have real German Shepard Deer. Very unique to our Country:)

How are you coming along with your decorating? It seems like by the time I am done it will be time to put it all away so I have to get going:) More decorations to come. Have a wonder Thursday my friends:)

'Till next time..........
