.......well it is here in our home. Oh, yes, it may still snow outside but I had to put my foot down and announce to the universe that : Yes, the snow was lovely the first, 5th and 10th time. No, we didn't appreciate all of the ice and extra bitter cooooold weather. Falling in front of my granddaughter will forever be embedded in her memory. Nicole laughing at me when I fell will always be embedded in my memory. And we have now boycotted Winter:)
I am Springing up the house. Don brought these flowers home to me:)
Aren't they beautiful? He said today that when he looks at them they make him happy. Isn't that the sweetest thing?
The colors just scream SPRING IS HERE!!!
I have fluffed all of the pretty pillows and stacked some reading material on my favorite chair. Keep the garden catalogs coming:)
Bulbs are blooming and filling the room with their beautiful perfume:)
Vintage and new flower pots are waiting to be filled with some new greens.
Our pond in the solarium is waiting for me to put some live greens in it for the Koi to eat.
We are waiting for the birds to start building nests again so that we can watch the little ones grow.
Is it Spring in your home yet?
'Till next time....

Oh I am going to boycot winter too! What a great idea. Yes spring has entered my house, albeit slowly. And I can see spring in my garden too, some bulbs are coming up and a lot of weeds too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely spring retreat you are having!
ReplyDeleteDebra your blog is just breathtaking! Love all of your pictures around your home. It's been in the mid 60s here for several days and I think it's supposed to stay that way. Gardening and fresh flowers are definitely on my mind!
ReplyDeleteOh Debra, yes, your Home has me feeling Springtime in the best possible way... especially the Flowers and vivid colors! Thank you for your Prayers... though our weather has been absolutely glorious it has been somewhat difficult to properly enjoy the Blessing of it with a Loved one having a serious health crisis and hospitalized. There are those conflicting emotions that go with natural beauty and Sunshine all around while in the midst of a personal Storm of epic proportions... making it very surreal... and Joy mixed with a certain amount of sadness and anxiety. So I've been particularly grateful for the Land of Blog and this wonderful community to stay centered and in balance... and Princess T is amusing me as she changes Dancing Party-Mode ensembles constantly and practices her moves *smiles* Shakira has nothing on her I tell ya *LOL*... Hugs... Dawn... The Bohemian
ReplyDeleteWhat a burst of sunshine those flowers are! come on , spring..we are ready!

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! I love all the blues....so pretty. And, the spring bouquet made my heart sing.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think Spring already came and went here.... I bought some sweet little daffodils....they already died and the scrumptious pink roses my Hubbs brought to me the other day are looking a LOT worse for wear.... I am SO ready for some pretty weather here in the Pacific Northwest.
I fell flat on my face in front of my poor little grandson a few months ago.... My daughter teases him that he tripped me.... He DOES not like the joke.
Warm blessings,
Spencer
I've added your darling blog to my blogroll.......and I'm a new follower as well....
