Hello there:)
Thanks for stopping by today. I went to The Brimfield Show this week and wanted to share with you some of the fun things I saw:)
The weather was damp and rainy but dressed for it and had a lot of fun. Don and I went on Tuesday. He scored a couple of lanterns.
On Wednesday Gretchen and her Mom joined me for a day filled with a lot of walking and laughs. I think we laughed all day:)

                                                         Lots of whites this year.
This is a gigantic tent filled with vintage clothing and jewelry.
                                         Great white table and ironstone.
                                                  Love this bed and pillows.
Fell in love with this blue and white door!!!!

These bags were there again this year. Gorgeous!!!

OHHH MMMM GEEEE Look at these two pieces!  I need a bigger barn;)
                                                               Love this display.
                                                 Yes, I do love drawers!!!
Fabulous door and basket with pillows. I noticed that the booths that set up mixing plants with their displays looked the best.
                                                               Mushroom love.
                                 Uh.....................................................hmmm
This creative lady always displays plants in the prettiest ways.
They have things for people who love the water. There is something for everyone here as there are thousands of dealers.

Now, tell me, who doesn't need a ginormous chicken??? lol

Counting the weeks until the next show in July.  Did you make it to Brimfield this week?
                                  HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY:)

RACHEL ASHWELL WOULD BE PROUD OF ME

Today I took my little Granddaughter Fibi to run errands with me.  While going from place to place I remembered that Nicole had told me that one of the thrift shops we go to just got in an inventory of vintage clothing. So off we went.

I found this fabulous childs' dress. I thought of Rachel Ashwell as soon as I saw it. It had to be the deal of the day because it was only $6.00!
It is such a pretty color and still shimmers even with its' age. Just like we do;)
I love the little flower and round collar.
I wonder where the little girl that wore this pretty dress had gone.
I am going to hang it on the front of the door to my child's guest room:)Although I know 3 little ones will be interested in wearing it;)

Hope you have a beautiful weekend. Any fun plans????

TEA ROOM ANTIQUE SHOP IN PA

I have always admired the architecture of this building when we visit PA. It was a  tea room and now it is a gift/antique shop.
                                                   The iron work is awesome.
From the road you will see this great conservatory. The inside of the building is pretty and I just love how they decorated the outside.

This angel welcomes visitors into a small out building.
Here is one of my favorite ideas. Pretty plates scalloped in a garden bed.
I just may try this somewhere in my own yard.
LOVE this little building on the property. Notice the rose stepping stones?
I would love to buy a little house for the girls and decorate it for them;) Actually I'd decorate a tent, I just love to decorate. When I was little I would crawl under our porch. It was high enough for me to sit under so.....I decorated it and spent every afternoon playing under it:) That was my first make over. But I digress.
OK, here is another great idea. Tea pots hung from a railing!!! How cute is this for a cottage garden?

The girls need one of these, I'm sure of it;)

The owner was as sweet as pie and let me go around taking photos.
Inside the conservatory. Look at that screen door. Speaking of screen doors. I may or may not have brought a teal, chippy one home with me.

Yes, Don didn't sit in the SUV for this one. He actually joined me to check this great place out.
                                                                         Welcome
You know I love statues and this one was fabulous.

Hope you enjoyed our little trip to the Tea Room. Very pretty and inspiring:)
